These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the hqzllc.us corporate website and the software products published by HQZ LLC ("HQZ", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the website or any HQZ product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use HQZ products. By using them you represent that you are legally permitted to do so and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

2. Self-custodial software

Several HQZ products are self-custodial. This means private cryptographic keys are generated and stored exclusively on the user's device. HQZ has no access to your keys, your recovery phrase, or your funds. We cannot recover lost keys or reverse transactions. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase and for the security of the devices on which you use our software.

3. No financial advice

Information on this website and within our products is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Cryptographic tokens — including the native BRC asset of the BRDPoSChain network — carry risk, including the risk of total loss. You are responsible for your own decisions.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use HQZ products to violate any law or regulation.
  • Attempt to defraud, harm, or harass any other user.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of HQZ-operated infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any HQZ binary except where permitted by law.
  • Use our products to launder funds, finance terrorism, or violate any sanctions regime.

5. Public blockchain

BRDPoSChain is a public, permissionless network. Transactions you broadcast are recorded permanently and visible to anyone. HQZ does not control the network and is not responsible for the actions of other network participants, including validators, applications, or users.

6. Third-party services

Our products may interact with third-party services (for example, identity verification providers, payment processors, or partner banks). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. HQZ is not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual property

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names used on this website and within HQZ products are the property of HQZ LLC or their respective owners. Where source code is released under an open-source license, that license governs your rights to that code.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

HQZ products and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall HQZ LLC, its members, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of our website or products, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if HQZ has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HQZ LLC and its affiliates from any claim, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or products after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
